The Government of Kenya (GoK) has received financing from the World Bank towards the cost of the Infrastructure Finance and Public Private Partnerships (IFPPP) Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.

The required consulting services will include: providing the requisite specialist technical PPP advice and support to the PPP Directorate to carry out its mandate; assisting the PPP Directorate technical staff to support CAs across various sectors to identify, select, appraise, approve, negotiate and monitor PPP projects throughout their life cycle; assisting the PPP Directorate in establishing and operationalizing systems and frameworks to ensure compliance with the PPP Act, as well as the regulations thereto; providing advice on the PPP capacity building requirements of the Directorate and the Contracting Authorities, and assisting in the enhancement efforts; providing expert PPP input into all aspects of the Directorate’s activities as requested; supporting to the Office of the Director General PPP in the delivery of the Pipeline priority projects.
